Stage I Fire Restrictions on Plumas National Forest prohibit building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, campfire, or stove fire except in Designated Recreation Sites listed in Exhibit A. Persons with a valid California Campfire Permit may use certain fuel-burning devices (gas, kerosene, jellied petroleum, pressurized liquid fuel, or wood pellet grills) with working shut-off valves at least three feet from flammable materials. Effective July 6, 2026 through November 1, 2026.
