Campfires prohibited forest-wide except in designated Wilderness areas, Designated Fire Safe Sites, and within stoves/charcoal grills/fire rings at Developed Recreation Sites. Persons with valid California Campfire Permit may use portable propane campfire pits, stoves, or lanterns with shut-off valves in areas at least three feet from flammable materials.
